Climax 20T

TUBE AMPLIFIER / HEADPHONE AMPLIFIER / BLUETOOTH AUDIO PLAYER

We are pleased to introduce the Climax 20T, the Recital amplifier with the widest appeal to the greatest number of music lovers worldwide. By combining world-class performance with flexibility and features like integrated power & headphone amplifier, Bluetooth 5.0 player, the Climax 20T has been an amp that is easy to take home and just forget as you enjoy your music collection again for the first time.

The Climax 20T was originally designed by our Italian & France Elector-acoustic engineer. 20T isnt only Power amplifier, that integrates the Headphone amplifier and Bluetooth player. It is important to mention that the 20T applied tubes supplied by Recital, for all of our products, are tested and measured for quality control and assurance, and are burned in for 48 hours. Then using our Certified Matched process, they are hand matched in sets with tolerances 10x tighter than standard off-the-shelf tubes, thus ensuring the finest audio quality possible.

With its Headphone amplifier design, the 20T is designed for discerning headphone enthusiasts who demand the most from their headphones. Its versatile set of connectivity options, including balanced outputs, allows for nearly all headphone types to be connected to enjoy an extraordinary personal listening experience. As our Warren Gehl said, More music! Tonal color, detail, dynamic swing and purity are all improved, along with a bigger and more robust presentation. The music gets better, in every way.

Hear for yourself how good your system can sound with the new Climax 20T, it will make a tube-lover out of anyone who loves music.

"The Recital Audio CLIMAX 20T is a contender for the best tube headphone amp manufactured to date, and easily outperforms more complex and unnecessarily feature-encumbered designs loaded with unnecessary additional tubes… It has ZERO musical flaws to report and is nearly perfect in execution." Highly recommended.

Why do vacuum tubes sound better than transistors?

Vacuum tubes are more linear electrical conductors than FETs, MOSFETs (Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistors) or BJTs (Bipolar Junction Transistors). As such, tubes maintain signal integrity better than transistors.

Linear devices like vacuum tubes produce a far more natural sound and provide a much deeper emotional connection to the music. Less-linear transistor devices tend to sound leaner and less natural. Why is this? One word… harmonics! Acoustic music is made up of even-order harmonics.  Compared to the *odd* and higher-order harmonic distortion produced by transistors, the *even* and lower-order harmonic structure created by vacuum tube circuits is more natural.

The superior harmonic integrity preserved by vacuum tubes allows tube circuits to resolve ambient cues, instrumental textures, and the acoustical spacing of the environments in which instruments and vocals were recorded with a far deeper texturing, scale, and musical authority.

Additionally, tubes bring the benefit of using very high voltages that, when compared to pure solid-state circuits, results in tube circuits having a lot more dynamic headroom.

Recital Audio’s tube gear aims to recreate recorded music as if it were occurring as a live event. This means that Recital’s tube gear is engineered to reproduce recorded vocals and instruments as close to the sound of real live human voices and instruments as possible. As such, all of Recital’s analog circuits use a carefully selected combination of tubes, FETs, and BJT devices to deliver spine-chilling realism within the sound.

When recorded music sounds “real”, there’s an instantaneous recognition—a compelling and emotional connection to the music—that is self-evident and undeniable. This soul-moving connection with the music is what a listener should get from their gear. We say “should” because, all too often, that connection just doesn’t happen. With top-shelf cables and speakers, Recital’s vacuum tube components allow recorded music to sound more like real-life musical events than most solid-state gear.

When recorded music reproduced through a 2-channel stereo rig sounds real enough to give you chills down your spine, it’s clear that the system is generating sonics that are close to those heard in real life. The lofty audiophile goal is to get instrumental timbres, imaging, sound-staging, dynamics, PRaT, and the overall *feel* of recorded music to sound so real that a listener can close his or her eyes and imagine being at a live concert.
